An adaptation of an A.K. Best midge pattern that, being black, would likely make a decent dry fly for wild browns on UK rivers and lochs. A.K. uses Moose mane hairs for the body, not that common in these parts so pheasant tail substituted, and plastic freezer bag for the wing, substituted with some mirror flash.
